Where to find the "my workflows" folder

Where to find the "my workflows" folder

In my Automator window there are 2 folders besides the folders with the programm specific actions. The one is called "example workflows", the other is called "my workflows". Can anyone tell me how I save a workflow in the "my workflows" folder as I can´t find this folder on my disc. The folder is empty and I tried to drag a workflow into it but it doesn´t work.

Drag and drop only works with folders you create there yourself using the "+" button. If you'd rather have your workflow show up in 'My Workflows' then you'll need to save them in the Workflows folder which is found in the Library folder of your home folder. Workflows saved as an application can't be added.

Unfortunately there is NO workflow folder within my library folder. Do I have to create one or could it be hidden somewhere else?

Yes, if it's not there you can create it. Remember that we're talking about:

[your computer name] > [your hard drive name] > Users > [your user name] > Library > Workflows
