Whenever I open iTunes on my pc, I continue to recieve messages to update "Apple Software Update" and "Mobile Me Control Panel". I typically update the Apple Software but does Mobile Me cost anything? I thought it did and I don't want to be charged.
Installing the software does not cost you anything, and the MobileMe service is due to be discontinued within a year and so no charges are being made anymore. Apple couldn't just take money from you without your permission anyway.
If you do not already have a MobileMe account, feel free to delete the MobileMe control panel from your PC.
Go into Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, click on MobileMe Control Panel and remove it.
Then you will not be asked to update agaian through Apple Software Update.
Thank you for your response. My Yahoo contacts don't sync as often as I'd hope. Syncing the calendar works fine so I'm not sure why one syncs daily and the other doesn't. It seems the connection between the iPhone and Yahoo dont mesh well but I don't want to leave Yahoo. I tried gmail and didn't like the features so I went back to Yahoo.
This seems to be a different topic than the MobileMe Control Panel, so I would suggest to start a new thread on it.
And please be more specific then how do you sync with Yahoo.
