How can I repair the instalation of MS Office for Mac from my iMac (Snow Leopard)?
Hi, I must repair the instalation of MS office 2011 in my iMac. How can I do it?

I'm having some issues with MS Office and I'd lçike to repair the instalation. Or would it be better if I completely removed it and reinstalled it?
I would probably recommend reinstalling it. There's only been 3 or 4 updates to it so you could download and reapply them.
Out of curiousity, what's the issue you are having?
The issue I am having is that I can't open sharepoint excel file from Chrome, Safari or Firefox. I really don't want to have to reinstall it.....How can I run a repair on it?

The data base should be in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/Main Identity//Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/
Repair Permissions doesn't touch anything in any user account, so that won't help at all. The person who started the thread also hasn't stated they're having trouble specifically with their email data, just Office in general.
Until marcheir returns to the topic and states what has or hasn't worked, we're all just kind of on hold.
IMHO the best solution is remove and start using something else, anything else.

If you're not having issues opening other Excel documents, then I would lean more towards the files you're downloading are damaged, or are being damaged in the transfer.
