Aperture 3.1.3 Display errors (fullscreen) and Brush size issues with MBA 2011

MacBook Air 2011 13 i5 256 GB

Lion with all patches etc.

Using Aperture 3.1.3 ends up with the following issues for me:

1. Fullscreen graphic errors

While using the fullscreen editing mode combined with any brush, zoom into the picture with "cmd +" and apply the brush. The screen becomes heavily distorded with parts of the image appearing in flickering big squares all over the screen. Happens everytime I use a brush after zooming or panning around in a picture.

2. Selecting brush size

In general (fullscreen or windowed) whenever I select a brush and try to change its size by slider or manuel size entry, the brush crosshair gets distorded, or better, gets set aside while sliding through smaller brush sizes. The result in these cases is, that the cursor and the center of the brush crosshair do not align! Using brushes becomes quite troublesome this way.

So far I tried:

- Uninstalling (AppZapper) and reinstalling Aperture

- Using Aperture in a different, new and unchanged user profile

- reinstalling Lion via Internet recovery

Interesting facts: Cloned my whole System to an USB disk (SuperDuper!) and booted up my Late 2008 MacBook Pro. No issues with Aperture at all!

Went to my local Apple Store in Oberhausen and plugged the USB disk in a stock display 2011 MacBook Air 13 and booted the system from it! And behold: all issues were there again!

My conclusion so far: either the MacBook Air suffer from a generel hardware error or a general driver issue. Strangely no one except me seems to have these problems so far???
