How do I resize a template from 8.5x11 to 5.5x8.5
I am trying to resize a document created in a template. From 8.5x11 to fit on a sheet folded in half to create a four page program that fits the full page.

Those two sizes are not directly proportional. You will have extra space above and below your content. Legal size, 8.5x14, will reduce properly. Anyway, to do what you ask, save the page as a PDF — click the PDF button in the Print dialog — and drag the resulting file into a new, landscape oriented, document. Then resize it to the needed size.

And, if you deselect "Constrain Proportions" in the Metrics Inspector, you can do the stretch such that you convert the aspect ratio too. Works best if no circles are involved. 🙂
