I have the ipad2, I am trying to use facetime and the call fails every time after a few seconds. Am I missing something?

Either your router, or the one for the person you are attempting to contact, is failing to maintain the connection. Could be from interference, load or a number of factors.
So I should be near my router when trying FaceTime? Router is in living room and my wifi works fine in the bedroom for everything except FaceTime. HELP!!!!! Thanks!
Where is the person you are attempting to connect with? Is that the only one you've tried to connect to?
In NJ and OH right now. Yes he's the only person I contact. I've had the ipad2 for less than a week so I was just making sure that I set up everything correctly.
From your current location can you use your YouTube app and stream a video?
How then it worked fine for more than a year and, starting middle of April, it started failling? Not for me only, but for undred of users?
