You will need to give us a few specifics for us to be able to help you...
What did you try to do - what commands?
Did you get error messages??
How far did you get??
Steve
i just wrote a small cpp program on terminal..n then tried compiling it using g++ n it says command not found... 😟 saw some vdo on youtube..abt getting gcc files in terminal..n did as instructed..n even now its not working...its showing some other error..saying..
"
Arjun-Polas-MacBook-Pro:CProg arjunpola$ gcc Binary.c
i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1: error trying to exec 'cc1': execvp: No such file or directory"
youtube vdo link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCK9zrLVx_Y
atleast c programs were executing perfectly in snow leopard..n didnt try cpp..but since i hav upgraded to lion...both c n cpp progs r not executing.. 😟 plzz help..i dont wanna use xcode as it is complited...
I believe that both the C and C++ compilers that were available in the Terminal have been removed in Lion.
You are likely to get better support for this and other issues in the developer forums located here.
Best of luck.
Download Xcode 4.2 fromthe App store it's free, then gcc etc should be OK fromthe command line.

Tried Steve's suggestion. I now have version 4.5.2 of Xcode. When I type gcc on the command line I get " gcc: Command not found."
