how to install and use endnote?

I have a problem using endnote in pages in order ti insert bibliografic references. I purchased pages from the app store and in the resources web page i was able to notice that i had to download and install it, so i did but it didnt work furthermore it says that its only a trial version and that i have to purchase the product. Is this correct? Can anyone help me?
