its rediculous. i dont wanna sit here and uninstall the program!!! its too much of a hastle...
you have to recopy the songs and apps back to itunes.... PLEASE HURRY WITH THE FIX!!!

I'm so happy I could help you, guys!! It was doing my head in, too. And yes, you have to follow the instructions EXACTLY in the order shown, without any shortcuts. But it will work.

I agree with those who, if they are uncomfortable with the procedure, will wait for Apple to fix this, but note that it's been two weeks, going on three, without any QTime update.

You shouldn't have to have to copy back everything (apps/music) when reinstalling iTunes. I didn't. It doesn't delete any folder when you uninstall the older iTunes. It's actually very difficult to get rid of iTunes completely -- even with a programme like Revo Uninstaller.

lining up in the que of peps waiting for a fix. I cannot see the complete iTunes store. It just stops loading in the middle of everything. 😟

And today I just got my iPhone 4 and was going to register it and all. And now this.

And even worse: next week I will get my iPad2... and still no store working.. 😟

How many of you are also boot camp users? I am wondering if that has something to do with it.

windows XP on a windows PC here. (with all the needed updates ofc.)

Happended to me too. Just a blank screen but only on the app store. My interent is archaic, speed wise, so to uninstall and reinstall will take a 2-3 of hours at least. This is just another in a list of problems I have with Apple ...

I wasn't gonna do it out of principle... but I followed the complete uninstall / reinstall procedure, and I'm back in business.

guys, as i told, the new itunes update solved the problem. Appstore is now visible.

Glad my solution has worked out. As Ram said, the new 10.4.1 iTunes update fixes the problem, so hopefully the person who has slow internet connectivity up top can use that instead. 😉

Me, I'm a little gunshy at the moment, and won't update anything.
