Command-R not working on Start-up

I need to do a clean install of Lion on my iMac and I'm using the Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard. But on Start-up using the Command-R function, it still takes me to the Login screen. I've tried it with another bluetooth keyboard, but still no solution. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I need to go out and purchase a Wired Keyboard?

Hey guys.unfortunatelly I dont't have the alternative to use the CD or DVD boot since my DVD reader doesn't work anymore.

is there a suggetion you guys could give me? I'm living at Brazil, so Apple stores are quite rare so I can't count on Genius help.

Actually if I make a full report of problems my mac showsapple would be surprised. So, any ideas?! Please guys.

This worked perfectly! I have a Logitech K330 wireless keyboard that was not working at all when trying to hold the Windows+R keys during restarting. I shut down the Mac Mini, switched off my keyboard, switched it back on, turned on the Mac, then held Windows+R keys through startup. The OS X Utilies window finally came up. Thanks so much!
