calendar has the wrong year

Hello,

My daughter's iTouch has the wrong year on her calendar. According to her iTouch it is the year 2554. I had restored her iPod but it didn't reset the calendar as I had hoped. Can you tell what I can do? Is one of her apps causing this malfunction.

Best regards,

Hi Wendy,

I've just sacrificed my iPod Touch to your cause and erased it completely and the date was reset to the current date.

The trick was:

- in iTunes: restore to factory settings

and then don't restore from a backup, but set it up as a new iPod

because the backup will restore also the wrong date.

I hope it will work for you too

Regards

Léonie
