Hi,
There is simple solution for that case (forWindows 7, 64):
1. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 2.0.1
2. Right click
3. Uninstall
4. C:\ProgramData\Apple\Installer Cache\AppleApplicationSupport 1.5.2
5. Right click
6. Install
7. Restart Windows

Recently experienced the same thing on my PC running Windows 7 and previously saw no reason to install silverlight until I signed up for Netflix. As Netflix requires silverlight I installed it. Now Itunes is working perfectly and does no longer show a blank page when looking at the AppStore. I hope this helps as I have been experiencing this for at least 4 release levels and having made no other installs but this one I can catagorically say this fixed it.
Hope this helps everyone else that has experienced this issue.
