Midi Keyboard is only recognized when connected at startup

Hello,

Since upgrading to Lion, my CME UF 8 USB Midi Keyboard is only recognized by the OS (10.7.1) when connected while booting. If i connect it after booting, or if i disconnect and reconnect it, it won't work. The Audio-Midi setup application will not show the keyboard as active.

I've tried multiple USB Ports as well as a PRAM reset. The System Profiler only shows the keyboard as a "Composite Device".

It used to work fine in Snow Leopard.

I have a Mac Pro 3,1.

Thanks for any help

I wrote the support that they should update the Drivers for OS X 10.7.

The answer:

We are changing over our system at the moment and I have not got access to previous enquiries.

That version of the UF series was phased out some time ago so we will not be

issuing new drivers. The alternative solution is a U2MIDIv2 cable

Kind regards

Iain
