Sent folder only show senders name in mail apps

are u sure that before trying the mailbox option on the top menu u have selcted the sent folder on the left menu?

Mine is not a corporate account. I still have the issue.

Also i can't click the "use this mailbox for" option, it is grayed out...

i still have the same problem...

Restarting Mail worked for me. The Sent folder now displays the To recipient instead of the Sender. I'm running OS X 10.8.5 and Mail 6.6.

I had this problem again in Mavericks, after having had it in Mountain Lion too. Then I found your solution Colin and it worked - thanks for that.

Nope, different settings don't seem to affect the problem.

But I'm used to it now. But it would be nice if, say in the next 10 years or so, there was some improvement.

I am using OS X 10.9.1 and is perfect now. Some other setting must be holding you back.

Change to classic mode and you get the reciever.

>> Mail >> Preferences >> Read >> and chose on the Classic mode.
