Netflix: netflix is currently unavailable at this time. please try again later.

Hi,

I've had an Apple TV2 for about a month now and today I'm having an issue with Netflix. When I try to pull up Man Men I get the following error: netflix is currently unavailable at this time. please try again later

However every other thing I've tried playing on Netflix works. I click a movie/tv show and there's a small delay but with Mad Men that message immediately appears like it's cached.

I tried restoing my Apple TV2, I've streamed the show on my computer and iPhone with no issues it's only on my Apple TV that I cannot watch this show.

AppleTV 2, iOS 4.3.3

Same problem in Canada but with Community.

I tried viewing Mad Men too (haven't watched before) and it let me start playing an episode. After watching for a few minutes I backed out to the menu and tried to resume from the Recently Watched list where I received the "Netflix is currently unavailable message".

Checked a few TV series but the only ones broken for me (so far) are Community and Mad Men.

After waiting a day to see why we're all having a problem trying to watch Mad Men on Apple TV, I finally called Netflix. I just hung up the phone with Netflix customer service and they have been fully aware of the problem for the last day and a half. Apparently, a faulty error message "600" or "Nextflix is unavailable. Try again later."

message is being sent to TV screens for people using Apple TV or Sony devices (I assume she meant Playstation). The message is being created due to electronic communication between Netflix and Apple TV believing the cache memory is full therefore making Mad Men unavailable. I didn't ask why this would only happen to Mad Men only becasue all other shows were working for me. The Netflix rep said engineers are currently working on the problem and it should be resolved "shortly". Since it's already been this long, I don't know how much longer that means. At least I know that there is nothing I can do since the problem' is between Netflix and Apple and I am forced to wait until they resolve it.

Having the same problem with Switched at Birth... Like after watching one episode thru Apple TV then when i try to watch the next one it'll say "Netflix is currently not available." But it works fine on my macbook and iphone... And it's not only Switched at Birth, it does it on other shows too... Tried turning it off, plugging it out, resetting but it still does the same thing... Is it Apple TV or Netflix problem? Hope this gets resolve soon cause it does get annoying...

Just to add to the collection of data here: I called into Netflix as well regarding Mad Men. Got pretty much the same story about this only being experienced by Apple TVs and Sony Blu-Ray players, and that engineers are working on it. When asked for an ETA, I was told by "tomorrow at 5pm" (so that would be Thursday, August 24th at 5pm).

I just started having this issue today with various shows including Dog the Bounty Hunter, Yo Gabba Gabba, and The Busy World of Richard Scary. I was fine if I didn't exit out of the episode list, but when I did it would tell me that is was unavailable, and to try again later. Glad to know it's not just me.
