I have got iPhone 4 16 GB from New Jersey..How will I get Hardware warranty in India? as there are no Apple retails store in India. What if any hardware issue is there? how will I get the part replacement here in India?

Yes, they may, and, as many owners in the forums have testified, they generally do restrict service to the country of purchase. Sometimes you may get lucky, and one notable exception is the EU, which counts as one country for Apple service (by law). But you are taking a big chance buying a phone in a different country from the country where you plan to use it. Think of it as gambling; you pay less for it, but take the chance that if it breaks it will become an iBrick. Note, however, that in any country you can pay an independent repair shop to fix it (just not under warranty).

Yea... The warranty for apple products as far as my information goes like this

For IPAD - International Warranty is applicable. So it means that if you buy it from US , you can get it repaired it in any part of the world

For IPHONE- The warranty is confined to the country of purchase. So if any issues are there, (in this case point of purchase is US) you need to get it rectified in US.

Also in our country as you there are no Pure apple Retail stores and there are only apple authorized service centers/resellers..

i have an iphone 5 and i went to the janakpuri store and they replased it for free.

and FYI i had droped my iphone 5 and had serious damage.
