iMovie 6 and Quartz Composer

When I use Quartz Composer on a clip and apply, the image goes white. What am I doing wrong?

I'm running into a similiar problem as well. I will add the quartz composer effect and I will see it in the preview mode but when I apply the effect I get what at first looks like it is going to work (the red line) but it stops and the effect is not applied. Called Apple and said they couldn't help because the quartz composer effects are third party add-ons.

Looking for any suggestions as well.

Well, I was able to get the image to apply finally (what exactly I did I'm not sure) but it will only work when "effect in" and "effect out" are both set to 0. If I set either to anything but 0 it simply will not work like before. Any suggestions on getting it to effect in and out like I can with any other non-quartz effects?

Hello All,
Very interesting that Apple includes this effect but really dosen't support it... I hope they get the third party to fix it.

I have also found that the sliders for effect in and effect out don't seem to be working in the preview mode... I see the full effect, but no gradual effect appearing and then disappearing when the effect is completed.

In other effects (rain, earthquake, etc.), the effect in and effect out seem to work fine.

Very Frustrating... Nothing I have done seems to help... I have removed all 3rd party Apps (Divx, iGlasses, Flip4Mac 2.01)... Quartz Composer just is not working.

I'm wondering if my G4 is not supporting this feature...

Is this my problem that Core Image is NOT supported?
