No sound from Netflix on apple tv 2

🙂 Yay turning the dolby sound option worked for me. Seemed bloody strange that it was only Netflix that had the sound problem, got fine sound steaming from my computer or accessing itunes but Netflix no sound even though the picture was ok 😕

48,000 views is an awful lot of folks experiencing problems. Be nice if Apple and Netflix could fix this. Users finding this forum and turning off Dolby isn't really a pro-active "fix". And that Dolby suggestion didn't correct the problem for me. Nor did restart, restore, reset, etc. The odd thing in my case (and I'm sure others) is that the audio only drops out on NEW RELEASES. Old media audio plays fine. But any Netflix shows released in the last few month (like Aziz Ansari's show, or Apatow's, LOVE, or season 4 of House of Cards) are silent without a workaround fix. SUPER ANNOYING with a brand new Apple TV2. I'm on a 49" Vizio Smart TV with a Vizio soundbar.
