My iPad 2 froze and i had to do a factory restart.
How can i reload the applications from the app store? Do i need to buy them again?
I loaded the apps directly onto the iPad not syncing them with iTunes.

As long as they are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy/download them, then you can re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Thanks i tried that but i am still not getting full usage.
e.g. for one item - I got a game, the free version. Then I upgraded and paid for the full version.
After the factory reset I only got the free version back. And am not getting full version privilages.
Is there something else i can try?
If they were in-app purchases then you may be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4009 . If not then have you got a backup of your device on your computer's iTunes made before the factory reset that you can try restoring to (iPad backups/restores http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4079) ?
