Apple tv with a sony wega

considering an apple TV to view pictures and videos from my iphoto and listen to music from I-tunes all on my Imac- about 5 years old. connected to linksys wireless g router

I have a sony wega from about 2007 with one HDMI input slot on the side - this is HD but rear projection 42 inch very good quality picture

My Tv is connect to the cable dvr and the saudio goes to a BOSE lifetyle 3 from about 20 years ago. excellent sound


Will i be able to utilize apple tv without a lot of new equipment and complex cable intallation.?

Welcome to the Apple Community.


The bits you need to check out is whether the TV is widescreen and supports 720p, if you wanted your Bose to handle the audio it would need an optical input.
