I found a cookie in Safari called "local documents on your computer."
It doesn't include a "dot" org, or com or other suffix.
What is it and can I delete it?

That cookie is from local documents (i.e. HTML files) that want to store data on your computer in the form of cookies. The best way to get rid of such cookies is to simply delete them in the Safari prefs.
Delete it. If it's needed again by a web site you navigate to it'll get back there.
Thank you, sig. I deleted it. Some of the cookies I delete reappear very quickly. I'll keep an eye out for this one and watch for its return.
