"Organizing Files" when Burning CDs

Since my last upgrade, iTunes displays an "Organizing Files" progress bar when I try to burn a CD from a playlist. If allowed to run, it processes all 15K plus files on my ReadyNAS network player. So, I stop it and continue with burning the CD. This very annoying. Has anyone else experience this and is there any way to turn that "feature" off?

I wanted to share with everyone how I believe I rememdiated my issue with iTunes (besides using Winamp).

I'm not sure how I fixed the "Organizing files" issue, but after this issue I'd normally be left with a coaster CD as the burn would fail.

For me, with Windows 7 64bit I updated my bios (which was 5 versions out of date). Since then I've been able to burn just fine. Hope this helps someone else.
