how do I download an itunes U video for offline viewing
I can play these (free) videos fine while online, but how do I download them for offline viewing?

If you're using iTunes on a desktop (mac or pc) click on the button that says 'Free' in the right hand column to download the item, see screenshot below -
When the item has download it will appear in the iTunes U section of your iTunes library which is accessibe from the left hand navigation menu in iTunes, see screenshot below -
