p16-buy.itunes.apple.com hacked?
Mac OS X (10.6.1)
Strange, also I've this problem....
iTune can't verify the server identity "p19-buy.itunes.apple.com" why?
Maybe is a problem in the keychain...have you edited the keychain recently?
Maybe is a temporary problem.
Yes I did. I deleted a certain certificate because of this: http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2011/09/safari-users-still-susceptible-to-atta cks-using-fake-diginotar-certs.ars
Kind regards,
Philip
Philip,
I suppose this is a problem and the only solution from is a restore from the time machine in a point of time previous the deletion. Now I'm saving the single files I want to restore but I've the intention to restore the system.
Strange, but I'll give it a try.
Obviously the problem is been solved with the restore.
I've noticed that problem affect also the AppStore wich don't permit the purchase of any application. I'm sure that the problem is caused by the absence of one or more certificate.
The file containing the certificates can't be restored with TimeMachine because MacOS sees this as a system file wich can't be modified. The only chance is to restore entire partition or maybe (but I didn't try) to access as root and try to restore a precedent file of certificate.
