Those of you who have 15" or 17" MBPs may want to download and install gfxcardstatus:

It will give you manual control over which of your GPUs is used at all times, so you can prevent your machine from automatically switching to the higher-powered GPU when you open a video chat application. Of course it won't do anything for owners of 13" MBPs, which have only one GPU.

SMC can sometimes overwrite the automatic fan control built into your mac. Make sure at the least that it's set to automatic. By default, the control software for the fans is pretty good, so you don't have to worry too much about running extra programs like SMC. The reason the computer gets amped up while running Video Calls is that it does stress the graphics card, especially with the new facetime camera being fairly high quality. Are you sitting the computer on a hard surface while you're using it? Sitting it on a blanket while using it blocks the vents at the rear of the computer, so it can make it warm up even more. Hope this answers your questions =]

I guess... but is it unusual for the macbook to go up to 89degrees like that? Liek my other friends macbooks doesn't do that and they have the really older versions. I just go this like 2 or 3 weeks ago. I have it on a hard surface since Im always using it while its on a table. Is there a way I could bring the quality of the camera down cause when im video chatting for long periods of time. My fans sometimes turns on cause the laptop is really hot then it cools down

Yeah, I know what you your saying, my 2011 MBP does the same as well. Sometimes I will end video chats prematurely just to prevent the consistent heating up. All video chat programs do it to me such as Yahoo, Skype, facetime, Logitech chat. I have used other laptops with higher res. cameras and never experienced this issue. If it was not for loving this Macbook so much I think I would be very disppointed about this heating issue.
