Thanks, I got the answer yesterday. I was trying to get the clock face to come up as the default when turning the iPod nano on. Everything is AOK now.

HOW DID YOU GET THE CLOCK FACE TO BE DEFAULT?!
I found it!
Settings > General > DateTime > Time on Wake
I did the same thing in settings, it didn't work.
Try going to the main menu, then putting it to sleep. See if when you wake it up then, it comes to the clock.

I was going crazy trying to keep the clock face on all the time. Love this feature and that's why i bought this Nano. This will be my watch and I will change the face every so often. Thanks Mr. Jobs. Another beautiful Apple product!

Well go into settings, then date and time, then click ON for the TIME ON WAKE. there u go. to get out of the clock on wake, just TAP!! then it goes onto NOW PLAYING. 😉
