I would like to know if there is a way to angle photos in iWeb (ability to rotate) at specific angles. When I go into the Metrics inspector, the rotate option is greyed out. Even when I select any of my photos. Any idea how I can resolve this problem?
I just noticed that when I went to one of my photo pages, I can't rotate any of the pictures. When I select the picture, I get the blue frame surrounding it but am unable to select and rotate a photo. Can someone tell me what I should do?
This is a no-go area. The Photo page template creates this photo grid to accept the images you drop there. The grid cannot be deleted, and the only material within it which can be edited in any way are the photo captions.
I also had some pictures that are portrait in iPhoto, but in the created 1.1 iWeb photopage are landscape.
Rotatinig is not possible.
What worked: simply delete the wrong ones. Drag from iPhoto to the photo area in your iWeb photopage. Voila... it works.
Is of course a workaround. Apple should fix this bug.
You can also rotate an image on the canvas by selecting the photo, holding down the command key then dragging the selection handle of a photo. (Same as Pages and Keynote).
Sorry, a bit late coming back to respond. Yup, that's about it. Your best bets are Welcome and About Me. You can reduce either of those to virtually a clean slate if you want.
