Why can't I access itunes store?
I recently updated itunes. Now I can't access the store. It just shows a blank screen with the words itunes store in the middle. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium and iTunes 10.4.0.80.

Same, same same!!! The iTunes store loads half and stops. I have run diagnostics, completely uninstalled iTunes and redownloaded. I tried to update my phone, but after it failed to even start sync for 30 minutes i gave up on that as well.
Can we get a fix ASAP!? Been like this for close to a month i think for me.
same issue for me, i got windows 7, it tells me "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connection timed out.. i tryed reinstalling, and checking my firewall... GAHHHHHH
I wasted a lot of time doing the same this worked for me:
I found a solution posted from Rodfromnework for PC users. It worked for me and easy to do.
Start --> Programs --> Accessories (Right Click on Command Prompt) --> Run as Administrator
then type in:
Netsh winsock reset
Hit enter, restart PC, open iTunes, go to Store
Hope it works for you too.

And what does this do? I find it suspect this guy replied the same thing to three of us.
I'm having this problem too (it's the whole reason I signed up for these forums in the first place)

It will solve your problem accessing itunes store. Seems to be a problem for a lot of people I found this post last night, if you look you will find several people having the same issue and this was what fixed it for me. Can't make you trust me, just wanted to help. I spent several hours changing firewalls, checking itunes support, They responded to go here to check for a resolve and I found it. Good luck. It worked for me.....

It worked for me too!!! 🙂 Thanks. Now I'm going to inform support so they don't send anyone else off to check firewalls, check msconfig, etc., etc. Learned my lesson .... when things are working well, don't update.

reed, be sure to RIGHT-CLICK at the command prompt AS ADMINISTRATOR, then reboot
