lock button sunken in
The lock button has sunk in on my Iphone 4. I bought the phone in Jan 2011 from att. Would this repairl be under warranty from apple?

Most likely yes as long as it wasn't due to user damage, i.e a drop. Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar and let them take a look at it.
