My computer was turned off by an electric shock, now FCP freezes, if I try to open from finder says this: The document "CurrentVersion.fcpproject" could not be opened. Resource temporarily unavailable. Please help me!

Yeah sadly that sounds like project corruption- i.e. your project is fried. Best thing you can do is attempt to fix your preferences with this:

If that doesn't work it's back to square one. If you do edit on a desktop I highly recommend adding an uninterruptible power supply (battery backup).

You should post this on a new topic.


It means you have identical projects or events on another hard drive and FCP X can't cope with that.

Eject one of the drives when this happens.
