I used to be able to listen to my radio even when the iPad goes into sleep mode. Now I cannot. The kids have been playing around with it and I am not sure if they did something or not?

What app are you using to play the radio? Have you looked at the setting for that app?

Have you looked at the settings for the app? The description in the App store does not provide any informatiom. Are you sure that you were listening to the radio befor and not a Podcast?

I have no problem with podcasts continuing to play when the iPad is sleeping. Have you tried resetting the iPad?

You both have me confused and I may have totally missed the point here but ...

No. 1 - If you play a podcast - the iPad is active and doesn't go to sleep. I should say my iPad does not go to sleep while playing a podcast. I have my iPad set to sleep after two minutes and the 5 minute podcast that I chose to play never let the iPad go to sleep.

No. 2 - if you are playing a podcast and worried about battery life, doesn't the podcast use the battery while it is playing?

However, If I activate the sleep function while the podacst is playing, then the podcast does in fact stop at that point.

if it dosent work reset your ipad clicking restore button somthing in the app might of messed up your ipad. Or it may not work because on mine it plays music while locked so defiently check your settings
