IPod touch won't connect in China, iPad will.

I am in China. I have WiFi. My IPad connects fine. iPod touch does not connect. All the settings seem to be identical. iPod touch connected fine at home, and has connected on other trips. What could be wrong?

iPod touch, iOS 4.3.3

Does the iPod see the network? While the iPad supports the 5GHz band of N the iPod does not. Have yu tried:

- Resetting the iPod:

Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home

button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Resetting network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

I have somekind of similar issue about iPod Touch Bluetooth here.

I tried to connect my iPad2 to iPhone4 it works alright.

Then, iPhone to iPod - this is also working alright.

But, Connecting iPad2 to iPod Touch (4th Generation) is really a problem. They do not recognise each other at all.

Error Message was (something like): Make sure it is turn on and close. 10 centimeters is close enough I thing....

I just think that Apple is not considering Bluetooth is a practical tool to link between their products.

Could anybody share me their experience on connecting via bluetooth ? Thank you so much....

The iPod and iPad do not support h\the necessary profiles for BT pairing to another iDevice for things like file transfer. See:
