Sharing requires more memory to be available, Quit iMovie and relaunch it.

I Have So much extra space on my new macbook pro, Ive had i for about 4 months and Have taken very good care of it. I use imovie somewhat offten, but don't have all that many events or anything even, but imovie keeps displaying the message: iMovie Keeps Saying: Sharing requires more memory to be available, Quit iMovie and relaunch it. I have even deleted other videos and Have tried many other things, including resarting, re-opening (Rebouting) and Still get the same message. Plus iMovie is barley working since the message has begun to display. It keeps freezing and shutimg down on its own. I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT PROJECT THAT I JUST FINISHED EDITING SO I CANT LOOSE THAT, SO I CAN'T DELETE IMOVIE THEN RE-INSTALL. Please somewhat help fast, cause the video project is due next week.

PS. I ACCEDNTLY CLICKED CORRECT ANSWER ON MY LAST POSTING...

I too would like a fix for this. I have 142 projects (according to iMovie), none of which will share/render/export. I have a Mac Pro, dual 3.0 Xeon, 2+ TB of avail HD space (650 GB avail on the boot disk), and 11 Gb of memory, SL 10.6.8. Memory is certainly not an issue like the error says. Does anyone have a solution?

It is now 31 Oct. No replies to my inability to render or share any of my 142 projects as listed above. Please, does anyone have an answer.

As a side light, I started using my Macbook pro 15, i7 with FinalCutPro X. Worked great for one project. Now the beachball and slow rendering makes that program unusable. What's up with Apple's video programs???? I now have two expensive Apple computers with their software that are unable to function as advertised.

I really would appreciatte help with iMovie and the Mac Pro, (while I wait for a solution with many others on Final Cut Pro X on another thread).

Thanks,

Kurt

iMovie 11, Mac Pro 1,1, SL 10.6.8, 11Gb Mem, Plenty of HD space (4 Hard Drives - 600+Gb on boot)

Sharing requires more memory to be available, Quit iMovie and relaunch it.
