Using Video Effects > Keying > Mask, there is only 4 points to move.
If I wanna mask out the shape of a heart, how do I do that ?

Background video on the primary storyline. Fill video above it. Genrators>Shape above that. Make the generator a heart in the Inspector. Set it's composite mode to stencil alpha. Select the generator and the fill and make them a compund clip.

Is there a multiple gabbage point in Final Cut Pro X ?
I know in FCE4, we only have 4 pts & 8 pts.
I remember in Sony Vegas, it has many points & you can use it to mask out polygens of various shape.
Besides those standard shapes, is Final Cut Pro X restricted to 4 points ?

The Mask effect has four points, but can be fully rounded. The Shape generators has mu,tiple shapes not points. If you want to make a bezier mask you need Motion.
