Visual artifacts with IMovie11 after moving to Lion

Hi, I have recently moved to Lion and created a new IMovie11 project, but now the project videos are complete with visual artifacts ( vertical lines ) they are also shown in the exported movie:

I haven't experienced this before as I did few movies with IMovie and it worked well.

The initial video is shot with Canon 5D Mark II at 1080p 25fps, the project is also set to 25 fps:

Any help, thanks.

I posted my own question on this before I found this thread. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3592979

I don't think this is a video card issue. I can export the video and play the exported file in a different machine and the artifacts are still there. If it was a video card issue, the artifacts would be gone.

Also, it appears to be happening with many different applications—iMovie, iDVD, aperature, firefox, and I'm having problems lately in photoshop as well—so it's not an application problem. It must be either hardware other than video card, or OS-related.

YES! It's fixed in Mountain Lion!

I've been using Macs for nearly twenty-five years, and I've never seen Apple produce a more buggy, problem-plagued OS than 10.7 Lion. And that includes the transition from Motorola chips to PowerPC, the transition from PowerPC to Intel, and the transtion from OS9 to OSX. There were more bugs, bad features, poorly-implemented changes, and downright crappy design in Lion than in anything Apple's ever done, including the low-end Macs of the early '90s.

Anyway, I'm glad it's finally fixed.
