4G modem question.
Trying to set up 4G Verizon modem on my personal Macbook. screen says I need the disk to be run by a system administrator first. Any thoughts

Why don't you contact Verizon for directions on setting up the modem? It may make it more simpler. And are you logged in as the administrator?
spent far too much time on the phone with Verizon listening to them blame Apple. I do not believe this is an Aple problem just hoped someone here might have had the same issue.
Well-behaved Mac programs that need Admin privileges to Install something put up a dialog box asking you to enter the Admin name and password, then proceed with the install without issue.
Nasty lowest-bidder stuff that Verizon is peddling may require you to log in as Admin to install.
Thanks, All. Found that Verizon software to check laest updates does not in fact do so. Had to download the specific driver for the modem.Now it is trying to register the modem as a cell phone and promises to send me a temp password by text. Problem is all Verizon.
