BUZZ Player HD

How do I get the friggin BUZZ Player that everybody so fervently cheers about to show and play my local IPod videos on my IPad 2 or Iphone 4?

I mean I've paid and installed this wondrous player on both iDevices and the "Local" view is always empty. I want to see my Videos there. The ones that I see in my Videos app of the IPad or in my IPod app of the IPhone?

I can't figure out a way to do this. Everybody is mainly talking about its streming possibilities but I want simple vid playing locally!

Any clues? Sorry for my rant :-)

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.3, It's actually iOS 4.3.5 (8L1)

Are you sure that you can get it to see your Videos app content ? I've had a quick look at their help pages (e.g. 'how-tos' and their 'introduction') and all I can find is info about how to transfer content to it from your computer via USB or wifi, downloading content from websites directly in the app, streaming, and the 'open in' function (e.g. from Mail).

You are probably right King_P. Thanks for pointing it out. However it contains a local folder and in the various descriptions on the internet it "sounded" like it is able to play local vids.

Since it now appears there is no such function does anyone know another video player for my videos on the IPad 2 (The IPod player on my Iphone 4 is okay)? The IPad 2 native player ***** big time. I cannot even change to a hasslefree list view. All you get is big and ugly thumbnails. When you have 300+ videos on your device it easily gets outta hand.

Depending on the format of the videos (I think that those bought from Apple will only be playable in the Videos app), have you tried copying your videos from your computer to the Buzz app ? - in which case I think that they should then go in the 'local' folder in the app. If you can get them into there you can then delete them from the Videos app so that you don't have them duplicated

The AVPlayerHD app appears to have fairly good ratings, but I don't know whether it supports folders or list views (I havn't got the app)

That sounds like the big solution I was hoping and craving for!

Only HOW do I copy my videos (MP4) to the Buzz App? I have Windows XP PC and a no jailbreak IPhone and IPad!

Their help page has this for transferring files from your computer : http://bugunsoft.com/buzzplayerhd/help/howto.html#transfer2BUZZ Player HD - it looks like it supports both 'file sharing' via the bottom of the Apps tab when connected to your computer's iTunes, and via you wifi network.

One last question:

I've added two videos via the Wifi Connection - Web browser - BUZZ Upload Page and am wondering whether those two files are now physically on my iPhone/iPad or somewhere on a mysterious BUZZ Cloud with space resctrictions?

My 300+ videos equal >15GB but fit cosily on my two 32GB iDevices.
