How do you automatically get a capital at beginning of a sentence?

I have been searching hi and lo for a way to automatically get a capital at the beginning of every sentence. My iphone does it, microsoft does it, apple must do it too????

So, it looks like no one has an answer to this yet? Surely automatically adding the first letter as capitalised in each sentence/line should be part of the spell check system? Same as correcting an i to an I when it is typed on it's own. Very frustrating as i switch from a PC at work where i never need to use the shift key, to a Mac at home where i need to shift key every capital letter. Why Apple??

Also - why are some people so flippant and rude? Be nice - it's a simple and honest question and it deserves a polite answer or none at all!
