Telstra's New 4G USB Modem - Not Showing as Drive in Finder

Hi all

I recently got the brand new Telstra (Sierra Wireless AirCard 320U) Next G USB 4G Modem as shown here: http://go.bigpond.com/wireless/?cid=ZBP_access_2_mobilebb_270911_title.

I plugged in in my MacBook Air 2011 and all appeared fine, the setup screen started and went through partially with no issues - the software in installed on the device to run automatically, however I had to quit the Setup and removed the USB modem. Now this device and its built in software will not show in Finder at all. I restarted the system, same problem. What's caused this and how can I resolve the issue? This is a brand new device, only just launched so even Telstra dont provide the current OEM software included on the device,as a download.

I have tried Disk Utility, but nothing shows in the USB port (swapping USB ports also fails). I might have to plug it into a Windows machine and drag the DMG file off the Modem device and then run the DMG file on the Mac itself. Any ideas / suggestions anyone?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.1), MacBook Air 13" / 256GB / 4GB / i7
