I can't create a User Tip

I doubt that a level 1 user can post user tips. In the previous Apple Discussions you had to be level 2 or higher. The lists of levels in this new format don't mention creating user tips, but I would guess it would be the same number of points it used to be, putting it at level 3 or 4.

They may have upped that because I tried (after reading the OP's post) and, although i was able to enter a community name, whatever popped up was not clickable. I tried backwards and every which way.

I don't think the User Tips section as it was under the old system ever made it over to the new forum. When the switch was made that was one of the first things I asked about and was told that it was being worked on. Never heard anymore.

It is being worked on.

That's good to know because I found it a very useful part of the forums.

Thanks for the questions and interest in User Tips. As of right now, we are only enabling User Tips for a small group of users. We will continue to open this up to more users by status level.
