Snow Leopard and iCloud

I watched the iPhone presentation yesterday 10/4 and iCloud intigration was only mentioned with Lion. Back on August 29th there were a lot of rumors that iCloud would also be supported in Snow Leopard. Does anyone know if iCloud be available in/on/for Snow Leopard?

Compare iCloud to SugarSync and you gotta wonder why Apple even bothered with iCloud.

It really is laughable. Even making more ridiculous that iCloud won't work with SL. Even MS Skydrive is better.

I use Dropbox and Skydrive and see no reason to use iCloud, even though I have now upgraded to Lion on MOST of my Macs.

Apple wants loyal customers. Why don't they offer us the same courtesy?

Thanks for the great link Airborne!

I have a macbook 3.1 (white) and use an iPad... To get my files from the iPad Pages app, I need iCloud (unless I want to email every document every time I edit it) - but of course, my macbook only has Snow Leopard. So just to be able to use Pages on the iPad, I would have to buy a new macbook? What nonsense! If Apple can't support iCloud on all macbooks, at least make sure Pages is able to sync with different Cloud Storage alternatives, like Dropbox... Getting my documents on and off the iPad is a nightmare, like this.
