Siri on iPhone 4??

Will Siri also be available for iPhone 4? I heard that, Siri will only be available for the 4S. 😟

I don't think apple will port it just for your comment ;) and my friend jailbroke his iPhone 4 And Siri has been successfully ported on it and it works just fine it ain't slow doesn't have any bugs. It works absolutely fine just like on the 4s. Also another one of my friends did it on 3GS it's just a bit slow on the 3GS. I am gonna do mine in a few days

OK, I think you are full of it....no one has been able to port SIRI to Iphone 4 yet...except for the SIRI GUI. Which only shows the menus (you cannot talk to it). If you have actually ported SIRI to the iphone 4 and somehow figured out how to get it to connect to the apple servers please share your knowledge witht he rest of us!!

AND YES, I think APPLE should let us loyal customers have SIRI on our Iphone 4....that we purchased LESS THAN A YEAR AGO!!

I too am looking for alternates to apple...I am getting sick of being forced to buy the new products because they will not share these types of apps/software with older versions.

I just got off a review of windows phone 7 and I tell u all on this support website open ur eyes to the many things u don't know out there I have been an iOS user and fan and I use the ow regularly more than some developers but when I saw what windows Phone 7 is could do I instantly was blown away.I t has ur Siri and all of the other stuff and better stuff. It is the most fluid OS.Microsoft doesn't need extra money to give u their Siri.Really guys Apple has ****** us for long and I think we have to make a change. As for me I'm converting soon.no more iPhones

Nothing but a marketing ploy to get folks to buy Iphone 4s. ****** me off when GREED gets so bad that they disconnect something that works on IPHONE 4 just to force you to upgrade to Iphone 4s.

I paid $700 for my Iphone 4 and one of the aspects of the phone that made it worthwile, part of the PACKAGE of APPS that make it efficient was SIRI and APPLE intentionally decides to shut down Siri for IPHONE 4 something customers already paid for, to force SHEEAPPLES to buy the latest product.

It's disappointing! It's nothing but GREED and a total dismissal of giving a crap about customers whom have already forked out nearly a thousand dollars for Iphone 4.

I don't think Apple gives a crap what customers want. If the Apple techies think it's KEWL and their marketing peeps think they can make a bigger buck, then they will include it. Somebody at Apple thought... "Hey! If we disconnect SIRI from IPHONE 4, then we can force IPHONE 4 owners to upgrade to IPHONE 4s!"

Without any real consideration for IPHONE 4 owners who already forked out their hard earned cash.

Good input Meg...

Guys...keep in mind that there is a difference between Siri Assistant, the app that ran on the existing hardware before the iPhone 4S came out, and the Siri Assistant that is integrated in the 4S. The app couldn't talk back audibly, for example, amongst other things.

I still think we have a strong case for continuing to give feedback to Apple and get the APP restored--it cannot do most things that the integrated SIRI does now, but it was very helpful and a strong promotion for the fully-formed firmware in the 4S...

The app couldn't talk back audibly, for example, amongst other things.

Among those "other things" is that the iP4S has a modified proximity sensor that allows for the "Raise to Speak" feature so that Siri can be more easiy used.

This thread (and others) is a deja vu of the threads from 18 months ago when the iP4 got Voice Control and not the 3GS. The same whining, self-entitled rants. Amazing!!

I submit to you that removing a feature like Siri on the iPhone4 would be like taking your car to the dealer for a recall and they remove your ability to get FM radio stations. When you enquire why they were disabled, you are told that all of their new cars have better radios and more FM stations. The logic of what Apple has done just doesn't make sense.
