Is this the place to ask questions about the web inspector? Ive had a look around but can't find a developer forum..
Anyhow, the Firebug extension for Firefox usefully shows the POST data (and other parameters) when I'm debugging my scripts.. (see image) - Its shows me all the info I need - headers, post, response and html
Where can I see this information in webkit's web inspector?

on 5.1 it's in the network tab of web inspector, although that needs opening first, or the page refeshing.

I can't believe this passed QA. It can't be intentional. The absense of the ability to view POST traffic renders the whole network utility next to useless. I've had to resolve to using Chrome for my POST peaking needs. This needs to be voiced, people. Guys if you want to see post data in safari 6 which is not possible right now, install the firebug lite extension and there you go you have the post data.
I used it and it works great with safari 6
I just switched to Chrome this morning - it's really sad because Safari 5.1 was usable - I grew accustomed to using it after leaving FireFox for my development. But after trying to get around in Safari 6, I just gave up today. Chrome's tools are definitely nicer than this new Safari.
I'll leave my feedback - hopefully Apple will fix it up soon! Thanks for the link.

I reckon having an option to display it in the console like firebug would be more convenient..
How does one do that with the new web inspector? in safari 6, this thing is a mess!
