will iPhone 4 cases fit the iPhone 4S?

Why everyone wants the snap on back case? I got one of these for myself. It's different, trendy, protects both front and back, and it fits iPhone 4, 4S, 5, 6...LOL

You are most right, let me clarify my previous response.

iPhone 4s (AT&T) - aligns perfectly with the case

iPhone 4s (Verizon) - the mute switch sits just a "hair" higher

FruitNinja, you know what? I was wondering the same thing, but I heard metal cases actually degrade your phone and internet signals, so you don't want a case that's made in aluminum completely, Especially you don't want to use metal to cover the side of your phone, where the antenna is. I know for sure the side of this case is made of plastic, and aluminum finish on the back looks great. That's all good to me.

You do have to watch which case you buy as mentioned before several times. I love angry birds and bought a genuine Gear4 case from o2 for my new 4s. As the mute button is lower and the case is made for the 4, it will not fit. So in short, until they redeign a case for the 4s, do not buy any Angry bird Gear4 cases!

the freaking mute button is out of position on the iphone 4 cases, unless you get a slider case.

but of course all you have to do if file alittle of the soft inside and its perfect.

My fiance had a speck fitted case for her IP4. I myself just got an IP4 as well, and we both ordered new speck cases (designed for both IP4 and IP4s, small oval or large square camera opening). The newer cases don't seem to fit as tightly as the older ones (designed for IP4, keyhole shaped camera opening). The plastic doesn't seem as beefy around the corners of the new cases as well. My fiance dropped her phone in the old case several times without issue. I dropped mine in the new case and the case broke at the bottom. If the the dimensions of the IP4 and 4s are the same, i'm not sure what the issue is. Both IPs are Verizon.
