Apple Care+ for iPhone 4S

Good question. The store doesn't let you buy it yet. Can we get it later even though it says it must be ordered at the same time?

I'm in the same boat as drbayside, I pre-ordered from Verizon at 3 AM, and there was no option for Applecare+. I want it however. Some feedback would be great.

Same quesiton. Ordered from ATT around 4am and there was no Applecare+ option. Can we purchase this week before the phone even arrives?

Does anyone know if the phone still needs to be factory sealed? I live 3.5 hours from the nearest store and won't be able to get there till Sunday. It's gonna be hard not to open it.

Did you order your phone through Apple or a 3rd Party Cell company?

I ordered it through Apple on my iPhone on October 7, and they e-mailed me later that same day. I tried to paste their e-mail to me in my post, but was not able to.

I'm on hold with 1-800-my-apple They are syill saying i should have bought applecare + when I pre-ordered. OMG!

Lars... Did you originally order it through Apple or one of the carriers?

I think the issue is that Apple doesn't know the serial# off the phone that Verizon sold to me or other phones sold by ATT & Sprint.

I just got off the phone with apple and they told me the exact same thing.

Update: I called Apple Care on Sunday and was able purchase APP+ for the iPhone 4s I received on Friday. (apple website says to call & purchase before nov 14th I think).
