I still have not seen an e-mail telling me that my new phone has shipped. Still telling me it is scheduled to be delivered on Friday...

I got my tracking number and shipping notification early this morning, too. However, I looked at it a few minutes ago and saw this message:

"The service selected is not available to the destination address / Downgraded / forwarded to consignee, selected service is not available."

😠 Of course I called UPS about this, and they said that they tried to ship it via Express Mail to Hawaii, but since that service is not available for Hawaii (not like we're an actual STATE, or anything...), they downgraded it to something called "Express Saver". She said that the package was scheduled to be delivered by end of day on Thursday, October 13th. I told her "No way that's gonna happen, so I can still expect it as scheduled on Friday?" and she said "Yes, barring any customs delays." I told her that this was the iPhone 4s, so I wouldn't expect any delays with regard to that particular item.

Just wanted to post this for those of you who may also get that message. Sorry for the mini-rant about the shipping. I'm just tired of hearing "We can't do so-and-so because you live in Hawaii." Planes land here, too, and not in the middle of pineapple fields. 😉

Figured since I posted in a couple of different forums, I'd update here, too:

I think I misheard the UPS lady (or she got it backwards). Express Saver is only available for the 48 contiguous states (not the ones floating out in the middle of the ocean - LOL!). Regular Express is available for me, and that's how I think mine is being shipped. So happy it's on its way - however the heck it gets here!

YESS!!! My two iphone 4s are now being prepared for shipping! Who thinks I will get them by friday? slim to none? or possibly a chance... I live in toronto, and im eastern time. just seen now at 7:30pm that theyre being prepared for shipping.

And boom you will see your order being shipped. My order still says preparing to ship but it has already left the warehouse on the way to the U.S.

Ordered 2 iphone 4s. One is in KY and one is in TX now. They better make it to my door tomorrow. I'm taking the day off work tomorrow just to sit on the porch waiting for that UPS guy =)

Mine is stuck in KY and I, too, am staying home to take in the iP4S and my updated V1 (3.892).

Mine has been in Louisville, KY since 9:28 a.m. Tuesday morning. This morning, the UPS status changed to "import scan" at 7:36 a.m. (Thursday). Looks like it is getting ready to leave Louisville!

Mine made it to Louisville this morning. Hopefully its on the move since 9am. One more day!

Well, after the long ordeal of trying to figure out if the ordered shipped or not . . . My iphone 4s arrived at my doorstep at 9:57 this morning. Yayyy!!!!!!!!
