iPhone 4S Ship Date???

I live in nj and my fiance and i didnt receive tracking number yet (under different apple account)..im getting kind of nervous..i ordered them at 5am friday

I ordered 2 black 32 gb at noon and still in processing stage. Dont see how it can arrive friday if still processing.

Anyone else's shipment info show that their iPhone is being sent to Burbank, CA? I assume it will be shipped there then to its final destination.

i wonder how long can i get one

JUST GOT HORRIBLE NEWS!!! anyone that used the trick to track their iphone 4s with using the order number, its wrong information.....I called UPS just now, and they told me that I am tracking someone elses iphone in Missouri...and my phone is being held in kentucky.. F***.... anyone from ontario that ordered friday after the store opened get a shipment notice yet?

Well, wouldn't you be able to see where the phone was ultimately going to end up when viewing the tracking info, hence being able to tell if it was indeed your order or not? I mean mine says where it is suppose to be delivered and what date. I originally tracked mine using the Apple order # and leaving off the last 2 numbers but the next day I did get a shipment notice from Apple and it was the same info I had already accessed. Granted I am not in Ontario; sounds like an isolated issue, hopefully.

I did the same leaving the last two numbers out of the order number, and there was no delivering to destination information...I thought it would show once it crossed the boarder to canada..oh man this *****. Now today when I woke up it showed it going to florissant, missouri.. I probably wont have my phones by this week... Hopefully just like you said, an isolated issue.. I wouldnt wish this on anyone >.<

Man that *****. I'm so sorry. Maybe you will still get it. Did you try calling Apple and inquiring about whether or not it has shipped yet? Good luck and let us know what they say. For a while it seemed like this launch was going to go off without a hitch.

My iphone 4S got shipped last night. It will come end of the day on Friday as I know that UPS always deliver in my area between 4-6 PM (Residential)

As has happened before, it seems that Apple stages multiple orders at multiple locations across the US for delivery on the assigned date. Is there a possibility of it arriving a day or so early, sure. Consider yourselves lucky if it does. But chances are you will receive it, as expected, on the 14th (if that was your scheduled ship date).

There are a number of reasons for this, logistically. Rolling out hundreds of thousands of these devices on the same day also requires a lot of back end infrastructure to be ready. Everything from servers and bandwith all the way down to the support personnel having the most accurate and valid information for when hundreds of people calling as they arrive.

Patience is key here.

I just got my shipping confirmation late last night. Its amazing how fast stuff gets here from China. The last two items I pre-ordered have arived on time and just as expected, AppleTV2 and iPhone4. I'm looking forward to friday.

Very true. I seem to be remember those who got orders early last time did so by mistake and they weren't really suppose to be delivered until the actual launch date. Patience is definitely the key. With all the technology today, we expect to know everything detail about almost anything at all times and get irritated when that doesn't happen. It's instant gratification but I suffer from it as well.

Finally got my tracking info early early this morning. Last scan was in HK so hopefully its moving now.

Just called apple..they said it could possibly arrive by Friday..but doesn't look like it, it says ships by Oct 14th..so won't receive till next week :( I always have problems with things..I either but them and they're broken some how ..or they don't come on time. It's a waiting game at this point, I'll post when I'm prepared for shipping!

I have seen even with the tracking, there are hiccups - it seemed that my phone was stuck in Alaska a but this morning us showed up in the Black Hole of Louisville- without a departure scan from Anchorage.
