What can the iPad 2 do?

I want an iPad 2 REALLY bad, but my guardian wants to know what i would do with it. I got the idea of getting one from my iPad wielding friends, and he had a lot of school productive apps, as well as a few games. Could someone please give me a list of the things I can use an iPad 2 for? I know you can read up on the daily news(my uncle is always mad that I don't know what is happening in the world.) We don't have a TV, but we have wifi, so that helps me get my homework done. But I take the bus to school, and it is 2 hours a day that I could be typing a paper when I'm just sitting there, staring out the window. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have to buy the iPad with my money, but i don't have a steady paying job. I just sell flowers on the side of the road for a friend on national hilidays, or on mothersday and valentines day. That usually gets me $175 for working a full weekend. At the rate I'm earning money, I'm not getting an iPad until december. And my uncle owes me about $70, and counting.

Why are we making this list for him? Kids today want everything handed to them. I'm not going to be an enabler. He should do this himself, and he should earn his own money to pay for it. Gotta say, that's what I did when I was a kid, and it felt good that I earned it myself with nobody helping me.

Mush, why not do a little homework yourself. Go to the Education/apps page that someone posted above and compile a summary of the educational capabiities of the iPad for your Uncle. Show it to him, and if he says no, ask your Aunt or Grandma. Personally, when my mom or dad said no to something I wanted, I had better luck with Grandma, but that's just me.
