I been trying to figure out what the Jingles track is in Garageband. It appears when I open a new file but if I delete it I can't seem to recreate it. How does it differ from Radio sounds.
Has anyone seen a good manual for creating podcasts in the new iLife 06 Garageband.

I discovered that Apple must have just renamed an real instrument track to Jingles to make it more obvious in their podcast template. If you drag any Jingle or sound effect to an open area below all the tracks, it creates a new one, but named with genre description. It's the same thing though.
Also I found these tutorials which were really helpful..
To add though, the Radio Sounds track is actually a software instrument track that responds to MIDI input or the "Musical Typing" keyboard from the "Windows" menu. The sounds it plays back are good for a 'radio show' style podcast. There are a number of other "Sound Effects" Instruments like the "Radio Sounds". Just select the track, open the Track Info window, then select a different instrument in the top right area.
