iPod touch screen is totally white! (LCD Connector is loose!)

MyiPodtouch (2nd generation, iOS4.2.1withoutjailbreak)sufferedaminor accident.My cousinwasplaying with it andinadvertentlylet it fallfrom a heightof approximately15 cm.

Nowthe screen istotallywhite.Butwhen I pressthe region near thehome button, the screencomes backnormal.

I took ittoanApple-authorized service providerin Brazil andthey told methat theLCDconnectorwas loose, butdid not solvemy problem.

And now,what do I do?!The warrantyis overit.I have totakeit back toanAppleauthorized store?
